I logged in this morning and saw a bit of a different look. The ad header got replaced with the GN Site's main navigation header. It turns out, after a wee bit of investigation, that I'm on something called the GN 2008 look. I like it. Blends well. I know some don't like to have to scroll down to see the forum posts so much, but I think having the entry to site navigation right there is wonderful.

I was going to stay uncool, or anti-cool, or reverse cool - the 2008 skin's got a bit too much blue in it for my liking. But - I like the extra toolbar or whatever you want to call it, it does make navigation a whole lot easier. So I changed to the new skin. It's nice to have the option of either skin, though!

The most important is that we can choose.
I prefer the 2007 version, it is clearer to me for reading. The menu was already available in the main site.

Yeah, they made a color adjustment to help us old people with the contrast when they released a while ago. It'd be nice if they did for the forum reading screens again.
