Hi guys and gals,

I was wondering if it was appropriate to request a song lesson in this begginer section and the song i want to request is live and let die - the wings version not the GNR one. I have downloaded some tab and chords from the net and like everything else on the net accuracy is not necessarily guaranteed.

I thought to myself i am a memeber of a fantastic community and why not ask there? so here i am not just looking for you guys to do the work for me but for everyone or anyone indeed who knows how this song is made up to get there 2 cents in.

Maybe even a future lesson?

If this isn't a pooability and i think i am asking in the wrong place then thank you all the same. I am still a beginner and the chords and TAB i have downloaded just seem so over bearing and there has to be another way to play the song. I am generally speaking quite a good rhythm player (as far as begginers go) but just can get this one down.

Any help at all as always is hugely appreciated.

I haven't had much luck with requests on that thread, but, my requests have been pretty obscure.

One thing to remember, as David has said in many of his lessons, is that you don't have to play these songs note for note like the original (especially as a beginner)... the tabs and chords you found should give you an idea of what to play, you take it from there.

That is a pretty advanced song to play (as a beginner) in my opinion... that might be one to put on the back burner for now.

If you want the note for note version, you can probably find a Wings songbook in a library or music store.

lol yeah i figured, i'll usualy give anything a crack and feel that invincible way. I just learned "you do something to me" that was pretty tough so thought i could do this lol. Thanks again.
