I was browsing the forums and a couple of little ads for guitar strings appeared near the top of the page. Â Later I could not find them and it just so happens I am in the market for strings. Â Do those ads just randomly pop up from time to time?
Yes, they are random ads. We used to have a special link for buying strings but the store we used stopped selling them. Maybe if you keep refreshing the page those ads will appear again. They also show up on the lower right hand side of the page in the lessons too.
JustStrings.com was a useful site for me.

The way google ads work - they scan the page for its text content, then match ads to those text strings. Sooo the best way to try to see the strings ad is to go to a thread that mentions strings, and refresh a bunch.
