I'm thinking about painting my bass and was wondering if anyone knew what sort of paint I should use. Last time I used some really cheap stuff and it flakes very easily, I want this paint job to last. Thanks! :)

Did you sand your bass down to the wood last time? I think that might be necessary to get good coverage. If you're doing designs, you may need to replace the current finish with paint more amenable to being painted on. On the other hand, it might stick okay. A clear protective coat of something when you're done is probably a good idea.
No, I didn't sand it last time which probably caused the flaking. Thanks for your adivice! :)
