Jason Newstead is an incredibly under-rated bass player. Most Metallica fans can't remember what day it was yesterday, let alone why Newstead left. They treated him like crap, and now they're stuck with hairy Mexican Rob Trujillo, and Jason is making a fair bit of cash with Ozzy Osbourne.

1. Rob Trujillo is not Mexican, he is Californian (American)
2. He also, made a fair bit of cash with OZZY as he was in his band before he went to Metallica.
3. Jason Newsted is no longer in Ozzy's band.
4. I agree Newsted is underated however you cannot underestimate Trujillo! Have you ever seen his stance or how he plays all the 'tallica songs, sometims using his little finger!

come on! my generation, great bass solos, and he has great baselines in ever song.
