I was wondering if anyone could give me a lowdown on some of the Dean Metalman basses. Ive seen them on Musician's Friend and they seem to rave on about them but have never talked to anyone whos played one. Pro's and con's would be extremly helpful.
You might want to consider that it only has one pickup (not uncommon with bass guitars), but just something you might want to take into account.

Well, they look cool. How do they play? I don't know!!! I wonder if you live near a Guitar Center if they have one or might order one as a favour to see what it sounds/feels like. I like the looks of them. They may be great, but seem rather limited. Then again, they seem rather inexpensive and sometimes that can be a good thing. A good bass for a cheap price is hard to beat.
