I these days of bass-tutorials coming out, I thought it was funny when I came across this album browsing through second hand LPs today. I was looking for a cream album (which I didn't find). However when "how to play electric bass" by Harvey Brooks showed up, I thought it was too good to pass up. Its a record from 1967 with a booklet with instructions included.
I'd never heard of the guy I must admit, but it turns out he played bass on Dylan's Highway 61 album, and he toured with Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Al Kooper and Levon Helm in 1965 - hey thats some backing band!
..and soon (?) BOB will arive - maybe it's time to get a bass guitar after all... :roll:
