I had already been looking at SX, but was suspicious of a $119 bass. He loves his and I've played it a few times and was blown away by how well it plays and feels.

I've heard all good things about SX. They are made in China, and are solid alderwood. I'm no longer put off by price. I love mine. I really like playing it... well, learning to play it. :lol: But I can tell you it's easy to handle, sounds good, and once I get my fingers limbered up more, it will be even better. I found I can play some bass lines without even looking at the fretboard. I would definitely buy another axe from Rondo.
