All the pieces arrived last week, so here's my now complete "new" bass rig at home:
Used Carvin BT-4A bass, approximately 7-8 years old

Thanks, guys ..

So far, I really like it. Since I am a rank beginner on bass, my tastes are not refined .. but plays real nice, fits nicely, not too heavy, and I find the neck quite easy to play, but different enough from a guitar that I know I am playing something different. I have been surprised that I am able to fret the correct notes almost all of the time.

Very cool! Jeez I would never have guessed that bass is that old, it looks awesome. :D
Looks cool, that color looks like it has flakes or sparkles in it. Should look cool under lights.
Nice looking setup, Vink! 8)

i've always been a fan of metallic paint - nice one.
How's the amp? I'm not sure what to make on Behringer...
(Tip, their wahs are terrible. Don't go there...)

Amp's a little noisy even with volume turned off. Not a lot of "definition" in the sound, seems to kind of get flabby for want of a better term past about 9 o'clock. Definitely only a practice amp; ok for my limited use, which is stricly for practice.
