Something in the headstock of my bass is rattling when I play the A and D strings. Any ideas as to what it might be? Thanks!   ;)

What type of bass do you have?  If it has a truss rod cover on the headstock might that be loose, giving the rattle?? The only other thing that I can think of is whether the tuning pegs/machine heads are loose.

Hope this makes sense :)

I have a Silvertone 4-string, the one in the value pack. The tuning pegs seem okay. Its weird because when I get to the 11th fret on the E string the rattling stops, and around the 7th fret of the A string.

Personally, I think its possessed.   :o
