1 - Can anyone reccomend a good book to learn acoustic guitar on?
2 - Does anyone know the strumming pattern for Wonderwall by Oasis?
Thanks :)
for number 1 i have no answer. sorry. as for number 2, try looking in the Easy Song Database. there should be a Wonderwall thread and i recall someone explaining the strumming pattern. OR you could try hunting around on the main site (not the forums) for a lesson on Wonderwall. i beleive there is one
"I got a woman, stay drunk all the time!"
-Led Zeppelin-
Can't help you with the first, but there's a strum pattern for Wonderwall given in the Easy Song Database thread for Wonderwall.
Edit: Look at those post times - Waltaja, you beat me by seconds!
Blame it on the lies that killed us, blame it on the truth that ran us down.
I tend to favor the following strumming pattern for Wonderwall,
with the mid-bar chord changes done on the first upstroke
1-e-&-a-2-e-&-a-3-e-&-a-4-e-&-a-
D-------D-----U---U-D---D-------
It's a little tricky getting the timing at first because of that off the beat bit in the middle, but I think it sounds pretty nice.
