Yes even though I started out on a squire (Which I will never sell because I love it. I got one of the good one) I just bought an epiphone les paul Standard yesterday and I love it. I tried the forst one out and it sounded great, I picked up the second and it sucked. So epiphones are great if you get the good ones. Just make sure to play is before you buy it.
