The B7 chord is one of the most useful chords because you can easily move it up and down the neck.

And what most do not know, is that this same form or shape can be played a string higher on the 6th, 5th, 4th, and 2nd strings (mute the 3rd string with your ring finger).

I think this chord was more popular many years ago with Blues and Jazz players, but it is good to know. You can play some cool rhythm riffs with this form.

Here is an 8 bar Blues (yes, eight) in the key of A using this form.
