i just bought an acoustic guitar 2 days ago and i got a horrible buzzing sound whenever i put my fingers on the 1/2 fret of D and G strings and it just ruins the hole guitar tune how can i fix it?

Where are your fret hand fingers when this is happening? Make sure they're up close to the fret but not touching it, otherwise you have to work really hard to get a buzz-free sound.
