I made sure that the volume control for Midi is turned up and the other volume control in windows 98se. I also started guitar pro 4. I went to options, midi setup and my sound card SB16 Midi out (330) for port 1 and the instrument patch for general midi is selected. I still can't get any sound for the program. My sound card works for everything else on the computer. Anyone have any ideas what to do?
Oddly, I had a similar MIDi problem over the last couple of days. I reinstalled the sound card drivers and everything is fine again.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. I just uninstalled the software and reloaded it and it worked fine.
