I've had my guitar for nearly a year with the same strings. When do you change strings, besides when it is obvious they need changing? I have noticed that the guitar is tuned sharp when I play it the next day, not badly, but enough that I notice it is 'off' when I fist strum. Is this the strings, or the guitar itself? And what is the best way to restring a guitar?
Thanks. Your help has been excellent!

it is almost definetly the strings,(though it could be the tuners) if you havent changed them in over a year. most people change strings every few weeks!

Please change them for the sake of music. New strings cost only $5-$15.

It might take a little time learning to change the strings, I seemed to have trouble for a while changing them, but like everything you will get better over time! 8)

Thanks to you all for your advice. I changed the strings, no problem and the difference is unbelievable. I will now change on a regular basis, for the music.
