Hey guys,
Haven't been on for a while Hope your all okay! :)
Anywho, I've nearly had my guitar a year in August. So far I can do the G and D major chords and change between them. I can nearly do the C major chord.
Pretty bad eh?
Now I've suddenly got a real enthusisam to kick some arse at guitaring and get better.
At the moment I'm learning G, Em, Am and D.
Also heres some kind of scale I'm learning, I can't remember what it's called..
it's goes like this:
E ----------------03----
B -------------03------
G ----------02-------
Anybody know how I could learn the strings so I always know which one to pick or which one to put my fingers on?
Any tips too?

Thanks guys =]

Hmm, never heared of a bionic scale and your tab is pretty much impossible to read: which strings are they anyway?

The best you can do is learn the major/minor and pentatonic scales. If you practice them enough you will automatically learn how each fret sounds and where each note is.

That would be the top half of the first position/box of the G major pentatonic scale. (aka E minor pentatonic)

E ---------------------0-3-
B -----------------0-3-----
G -------------0-2---------
D ---------0-2-------------
A -----0-2-----------------
E -0-3---------------------

You might find it easier to think of it as a shape?

Do you mean a mnemonic for remembering EADGBE? There was a thread about this a while back, but my favourite is "Eddie Ate Dynamite, Good Bye Eddie." :)
