I have a question about a string on my guitar. Whenever I strum all the strings, this particular strings seems to vibrate harder than the others and the string kind of shakes back and forth. Sorry if its unclear for some, but I don't really know how to explain it

Need more details like what kind of guitar, is it new, are the strings new, is it in standard tuning, what size strings etc.

The string could just be out of tune and loose. If it is electric it could be that the string is too close to the pickup.

Can't say for sure without more detail.

Its a squier strat and the strings are relatively new. They were just replaced a few weeks ago. They are low gauged strings and it is standard tuning. It shakes like it's loose but it sounds fine...

I've seen the same thing on my strat. Brand new strings (Black Diamond .009's).

The low E has a really wide vibration when strummed. It's perfectly in tune.

It hasn't been a problem, just kidda funny.

I notice this also but for me it's on the A string. I can't remember which guitar it does this with.

It looks as if it's vibrating much more than the other strings but sound is fine.

a friend just showed me his Squire knockoff. the e string does what you all describe.
Ive tried everything to rectify the problem to no avail.

are these guitars so cheaply made that this is common?

I don't think so. My Squier Strat doesn't do it. I think it's either my Schecter or my EPI LP. I'll have to go home a figure it out.

I think it's the string. The windings or something in the vibration frequency must have an optical effect since it doesn't appear to effect tone or quality of sound at all.
