I'm trying to learn Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb, and I'm using this tab:
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/p/pink_floyd/comfortably_numb_tab.htm
My question is what the D/F# and G/B chords are? My gut feeling says it's something that's used to "walk down" from a chord to another, but I can't really understand how (or explain, hehe).....any help is appreciated....also, is the solo tabbed out correctly? thanks again...

When you play the D, reach around with your thumb and grab the F# on the 6th string. (D/F#). For the G/B, just omit the the sixth string.
These are slash chords -- instead of having the root note as bass note, you play the note after the slash as the bass note.
Howard's list of chords will show you a number of voicings for slash chords.
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.

That's a nice song. Anyone who can suggest a strumming pattern?
