I have Been playing for a couple of months now just learning scales and working on chord changes, when ever friends or family come over they want me to play them a song and i cant because i dont no any. Just wanted some sugestions of some good sounding songs that i can learn. I like all types of music and have learned the open scales.

If your family wants to hear something.... I would suggest learning Silent Night. Tis the season and you have plenty of time to learn it.
Another easy one that everyone will know is The Star Spangled Banner. The whole song for the most part is played on the first four frets (depending on how you interpet it). They have a good version of it on the PowerTab website.
