Just to make it clear, I'm really new to all of this and would apprentice some descriptive feedback.
I have a LTD Deluxe MH-1000 and and I decided to change the strings myself, after changing them I noticed the tremolo base is now raised (proper name?). I didn't even notice while changing that it happened and now I don't know if it's about to break the damn thing or not.
How can I lower it so that it's flat with the guitar?

you've changed guage of strings. I would guess the strings were set up for 9's and you went to 10's. basically you need to put on the correct guage of strings.
Were you happy with the original guage of strings?
