Getting the timing right

Practice,practice,practice. We have all been told this. But how many times can you play Mary had a little lamb without going insane.( 201 I believe) Most of us start out with great ambition to be a great guitarist. Problem is your ambition can go by the way side when you get bored or things are to difficult. Start playing with other people as soon as you can. It does not matter at what level of playing your at. Playing with others will help improve your ability to keep proper time.This is so over looked by begginers becausee they are afraid to sound bad in front of other people. Playing with others or a group will bring the fun and excitement back to why you started playing in the first place. Proper timing of a song will help a LOT to improve your playing ability.
