Can anyone tell me what NATO is that some acoustic guitars are made with and whether it is something desirable or not? Thanks in advance. 8)
If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.

Nato wood,or Asian or Eastern mahogany, it's all the same. It's cheaper, a bit less dense and more readily available than other woods.
Lots of manufacturer's use it in their lower end guitars. Not something I would go looking for, but not something that would stop me from buying either.
