is there anyone who can tell me, or tell me a site, where beginner guitar and bassists can see what part each one should play, and what notes can be used for each part to improvise licks and rhythms

well, although it may not be your bag of chips, I'd say find a chorale by Bach and have the bassist play the figured base pedal tones and you provide harmonization and counterpoint, then (since almost every bach chorale utilizes primarily major scales) improvise using the apropriate major scale over the main theme chord changes of the song (to be played by the bassist). I'm not sure of the difficulty as I've never played a chorale on guitar, but I'm sure you could find one that wasn't to difficult.

The meaning of life? I've never heard a simpler question! Music.
