Ok, I have a question about the lessons here...I did a lot of reading here 2 years ago when I bought a couple guitars but forgot much of it while trying to develop the proper physical skills with finger exercises, arpeggio's, scales and chord changes. Now I can do many of these things easily and without looking and have been practicing daily (with enthusiasm) the past couple months finally KNOWING that I WILL be able to play guitar (we all wonder in the beginning if we ever will or not).

I posted a question last night about chord progressions and found myself looking at a lesson that described the Circle of Fifth's and looking at it like it was Japanese and totally lost............

I need to start over with my theory to make me a better player when the time comes by reading almost as much as I am physically practicing at this point....

....but...I see no particular order or pattern when surfing the lessons for printing out to read at a later time...

...so...*my question....can someone give me an order to read some of these lessons by lesson title so I am not bouncing around touching briefly on too many things to absorb what I am reading to make my learning curve/understanding something measurable? Seamless theory lessons will help to understand more rather than confuse.

This will keep me busy/productive while I am waiting for Noteboat's Book to arrive. Thank you. - Joe :D

If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.

I started with the basics, Theory Without tears
https://www.guitarnoise.com/article.php?id=3
and found that it leads nicely into scales and chord theory ...

So if you want to start from beginning, it is a good place, else perhaps you can just look up Cycle of Fifth and back fill yourself on any unfamilair concepts.

Cheers

I'm in your same boat. Sometimes I am reading a lesson (mainly Mr. Hodge's lessons) and he will say 'last week we were talking about...' and I have no idea where to find 'last weeks' lesson. I wish there was a better roadmap in the lesson section (such as start at this lesson, then do this lesson, then this one, etc).
