Hi,
Im planning on picking up a hardshell case online, and Im not sure which one to get. I have a Takamine Jasmine acoustic guitar, and Im not sure what I should look for. Is the guitar I have considered a Dreadnought?

Best thing you can do is head down to your local guitar store and see if your guitar will fit snugly in some of their guitar cases. Jot down the brand and model and see if you can get a significantly better deal online on the exact same case.
And yes, you probably have a dreadnaught.
