Hi everybody...!

What are the chords of that song ,composed by Paul Westerberg , the only ones I found on the net don't sound really true .

http://www.azchords.com/r/replacements-tabs-3275/herecomesaregular-tabs-157052.html

And what about the strumming .

Bye.

The chords are D, A, G with a couple of A7's. The tab states to capo at the 3rd fret. If you were playing it without the capo it wouldn't sound right.

Here is a capo transposition chart....

Hello ,

I'm used to playing it with the capo , I just wonder if the tab is accurate , because as I say in the first post , it' the only one I found .
Maybe it's my strumming pattern which is not good .

That tab is only barely accurate, it's not quite right.

It sounds like he's playing with a capo at the 6th fret. This makes the basic chords C, G, F. (and C Em F for the chorus)

Verse:
C G F9
Well a person can work up a mean mean thirst

Bridge:

G F9
(And) everybody wants to be special here
G Em7
They call your name out loud and clear

The last measure of the bridge is 2 beats instead of 4.

Chorus:

C Em7 F9 C Em7 F9
Here comes the regular, call out your name
C Em7 F9 G F9
Here comes a regular, am I the only one here today

To get the same sound, instead of a regular F play an F9:

C G F9 Em7
E:--3-------3--------3---- --3---
B:--1-------0--------1---- --0---
G:--0-------0--------2---- --0---
D:--2-------0--------3---- --0---
A:--3-------2--------x---- --2---
E:--x-------3--------x---- --0---

Pretty much keep your pinky on the 3rd fret of the high E string the whole song.

Great song, have fun with it!

Oops! There isn't a D in it, that was meant to be a C! My mistake--fixed now.

I think he plays Em7 with a pinky on the 3rd fret of the 1st string. Keep your pinky on that string for all the chords and it should sound right.
