For C Chord, can I just play x32010 ? Instead of x35550 ?
Depends on what comes before and what follows....... can you give us a little more? Sometimes what seems difficult or wrong in the beginning makes sense when seen in context. What chords come before this and what do you have to change to after this? It may be easier to make the change to and from the x35550 than from the x32010.
PS........ I straightened out your tab using the "Code" code to make it more easily readable. HYDM!

"Don't wanna ride no shootin' star. Just wanna play on the rhythm guitar." Emmylou Harris, "Rhythm Guitar" from "The Ballad of Sally Rose"
I've edited the first post with the whole tab.
You could do the first couple in eighth position - that C to Cm would be:
-------9- ------8-
------10- -----10-
---10---- ---10----
-8------- and -8----
But honestly, the easiest way to play that tune (Wake Me Up When September Ends) is as you've tabbed it.
