hiya

i'v been tryin to pick up this song < man's too strong > by dire straits from their album " brothers in arms .....
the starting riff goes on throughout the song .. i'll post it hear

any suggestions on strummin for the verse wud also be invaluable ...

Well I haven't tried this one yet ,although it's been a favourite song for a long time.

A couple of suggestions. It sounds like 2 guitars to my poor ears. I also don't think he's playing the same riff throughout the song. So you'll have to scome up with something the blends the parts together or just play the strumming. I wish David Hodge would use this one for one of his lessons, as he's a master at arranging multiple guitar parts so they are interesting and playable on one guitar.
