Hi
I tend to play alot of stuff from tab books I only ever really play on what I see written from tab, I tend not to take any notice of the cords written above the tab usally the tabs got the cord shape written out anyway.
Why are the cords there? and why are they there when play lead stuff?

The chords are there to provide the rhythm guitar accompaniment.
Best,
A :-)
