Can yall tell me what she is doing starting at 14 seconds? Is there a specific name for the type of strum she does?

Also is the strum pattern starting at 44 seconds DD DUDUD.

It's called flatpicking - playing individual strings from a chord fingering to create an accompaniment pattern.

I hear the strumming as D DUD DUDUDUD. In 16th notes you'd count 1 +a2 +a3e+a4
