how can i find good songs that are not boring and play the same thing over and over?
Try making a list of your favorite songs that you listen to often.
Either buy the songbooks for them or find tab on the web.
Don't throw out the tab or sheet music for the ones that are too difficult to play right now, they will come in due time.
As you get better you'll start figuring out the songs on your own.
Hope that helped
Turn on the radio. Write down the titles of what you hear that you like. Then hit OLGA or something like that and pull down the Tabs.

Just out of curiousity what are you playing now that is"Boring" and "Repetitive"?

Fenderguy,
first of all where are you at? I live in Clover, anywhere near you?
Second not sure if you have the same problem as I do but I can't recommend that you listen to your favorite songs and learn those because I've found that some of the songs I love to listen to are boring to play and some of the songs that I didn't care to listen to are fun to play.
So I guess I can't recommend anything for you, all I can say is search out artists/songs that you wouldn't normally listen too and try some of those.
As an example my teacher gave me some Elvis songs that I NEVER would have bothered with on my own but once I started playing them I enjoyed them.
