Squier Bass Pak vs Ibanez Bass Pak, Which one for a beginner

Okay guys brand new here, glad I found the site actually because I wanted to get the pros opinion on which "vaule pack" I should get?

I myself am leaning towards the Ibanez due to the tuner and dvd video vs the no tuner and vhs video squire has to offer but I can easily be swayed if the squire is better quality sound and durability.

I am just getting into bass as a fun hobby, If I want to take it more serious I will definately upgrade later but for now it's just me and a few friends in a basement with a kit, guitar and bass!
