Hey friends! i just got a Squire Strat for my birthday! ive been playing it non stop.... all had gone well except that the ends of my fingers feel terrible!!! Well i was wondering, How close are the Strings suppost to be to the fretboard? When i put it up to my eyes from the side and look they are all uneven? is it suppost to be this way? do i adjust it from the bridge? Well thank you for your help!

It's supposed to be that way. The fretboard is radiused, and the string height is too. If you've just started playing, then your fingers will hurt for a few weeks until you develop callouses.
