For beginners asking advice on strumming I came upon this wonderful advice from our own David Hodge in his lesson on "Wish You Were Here" This lesson should be compulsory for all newish guitarists :!:

https://www.guitarnoise.com/lessons/wish-you-were-here/

"As I've mentioned in many lessons (and in a lot of columns), music is a living, breathing thing. What makes playing organic is allowing yourself to not get so locked into any one pattern that your strumming becomes machine-like."

Again I have to say this forum is the next best teaching aid you can have apart from a real live teacher...

Thanks all

Keith

I know a little bit about a lot of things, but not a lot about anything...
Looking for people to jam with in Sydney Oz.......
