as you can see, i am a newbie... and i am quite sure this topic has probably been discussed at length, but i would like to know what are the better sites to access tablature
i'll hang up and listen
My favorite is Power Tab.
The tabs are rated and after downloading you get not only the tab but notation as well. Plus with the power tab editor you can play the file to get an idea what its suppose to sound like.
excellent... will check it out
ty
Power Tab is great; however, you might also want to check these out:
http://www.mysongbook.com
and
http://www.mxtabs.net
mysongbook has guitar pro files which you will need to download Guitar Pro for (a free download you will find links to on the webpage). It's similar to power tab but a little more functionality and an additional database of tabs to sort through.
mxtabs is just plain ASCII tablature but one of the best sites for it.
my songbook is great for quality tabs
Don't forget the grandaddy of them all http://www.olga.net
thanks, all
Ultimate Guitar has gotten pretty huge lately.
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com
Guitar eTab isn't as up to date, but they have a fairly good library of stuff last time I checked.
Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...
http://www.tabrobot.com/ is a good search engine for tabs.
"Sometimes you want to give up the guitar, you'll hate the guitar. But if you stick with it, you're gonna be rewarded." Jimi Hendrix.
http://www.guitartabs.cc/ is usually the first place I check.
Listen Louder Than You Play
My favs are tabsolutely.com and taborama.com
