My niece heard me play the other day, and wants to learn how to play. Now her being 8 years old means that she thinks that I sound great and wants to be able to play at that particular moment, but out of site out of mind LOL.
But I was wondering.....where would I start with someone that knows NOTHING?? Especially an 8 year old. I can barely grasp the concept of music, how would I teach that to an 8 year old? LOL.
Any help or thoughts?

As luck would have it, my 8 year old just finished his first guitar lesson today and he came home with a couple of finger exercises to practice, and a short song written in tab
