OK, I know there is no line that you cross that makes you go from being a beginner to anything else. But what would you experienced guitarist more or less think that could make one think that he has crossed this line. For example, I can play Barred ( I THINk thats the word) chords just fine, and change between them, but when I started learning Hey There Delilah yesterday changing from F#m to Bm was kinda hard prolly cause I've never practiced changing from that to that. But my point is what do I have to know, or how much time does it have to pass beforeI'm not a beginner anymore ?
( and excuse me if my threads are kinda weird, but I'm still learning :P )
I wanna be that guy that you wish you were ! ( i wish I were that guy)
You gotta set your sights high to get high!
Everyone is a teacher when you are looking to learn.
( wise stuff man! )
Its Kirby....
here's some answers from the last time someone asked the same question. And one of the posters mentions that he asked the same question in another even earlier thread.

Not weird at all, in fact it's a pretty common question. 8)
I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
So I looked like I was deep
I see Kent_eh beat me to it, but here are some more discussions on the same topic

These three (my two plus Kent's) are from just looking through the past year and only looking on this particular page. Hope it helps.

in the deeper sense of playing guitar...is one ever not a beginner?
after forty plus years of playing I continue to discover and learn new things.
for the sake of this thread...you are no longer a beginner after you have changed your own strings at least three times, you know a few barre chords, you can play a few songs all the way through, for starters.
I consider myself a veteran beginner. long time player with much more to learn. :D
