G'day, Minotaur...

Electric vs acoustic reminds me of these two gals I knew that were NY Julliard students. One was into oboe and the other into clarinet. Being ever the diplomat I agreed with both of them.

Yep. There's acoustic then there's electric. I like the one you get to plug in to!

Don't know if it's mentioned but practice with the gain down, use the clean channel if you have multiple. The higher the gain-knob the harder it is some flaws in your technique. Same with reverb, turn it off initially.

Thanks... yes, I have the amp set to play as clean as possible. I like the sound better that way. I'm not into distortion or screaming and wailing sound.

It is difficult to answer when one does not understand the question.
