Thats the Arrangement their are a few spots I'm running into trouble I'm playing are a few of the chords I'm not familar with F/A(bass) Ab Eb/G(bass),Dmaj7,D6,Gmaj7
on the F/A i've just been playing F and it sounds fine...the Ab and Eb/G have me completely perplexed pretty sure that I do know Dmaj7 bar top 3 strings on 2nd fret? but D6 and the the Gmaj7 preplexing...I've been playing a little less than a year (will be a year in March) am a quick learner but starting out I just wanted to learn to play other peoples songs I've written about 4 of my own now and I am about to start working on learning theory *bangs head against wall* I played trumpet for 6 years so I'm hoping its not too much of a task reading music and whatnot..but for the past year i've just been learning chords reading chord charts and tab learning songs..I have mel bay's book of chords scales and arppegios but I guess im too lazy to look up these chords..anyways if you took the time to read all of this and can help it would be appreciated thanx!
How about Freddie King's "Big Leg Woman?"
You're a big leg woman,
In a short, short mini skirt.
Promise me darling,
You'll never make me feel like dirt...
That ought to put her in the mood!
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
never heard big leg woman sounds cool looked it up on limewire couldnt find it...checking out the billy joel song but im on a dial up connection its taking me a minute
Check out Freddie King's CD "Texas Cannonball." It's on there. Great CD.

When my mind is free, you know a melody can move me
And when I'm feelin' blue, the guitar's comin' through to soothe me ~
How about Clapton's Wonderful Tonight? If you ain't played that til you puke you aint a guitar player. Awe ... That was insensitive! Sorry ..... coming up on my 23rd anniversary and happily married. Just not mushy is all. Besides, Mrs.TR hates that one. :P I have however played it A..... LOT! Wanna hear a cover?

Funny, I hate that one, too. Just yuck. It sounds like a drunken old sot that can't handle his booze and has to be taken home and put to bed.
Survey SAYS: Don't play that one, Phurry.

You can always go with the classic Jimmy Buffet tune, "Why Don't We Get Drunk".
Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.

There's Grand Funk Railroad's song, Big Buns.
It's a very short one. A capella.
