I am a beginner and can only play 3 or 4 songs and would like to know some more but i dont know some good beginner songs to play. Any suggestions would be welcome. thank you
There are some really good ones in the lessons section. David's done an outstanding job of pulling together easy tunes.
If you're playing acoustic, a lot of Beatles, most Dylan, CSNY, Dan Fogelberg are good jumping off spots. For electric, try CCR, some REM, some Green Day, even ZZ top - there's a lot that's not very hard to get a handle on :)

Take a look through the "Easy Song Database" on this forum.
The lessons here and the Easy Song Database are definitely good places to start. Look for songs that you like and know real well. It's a lot easier when you try to learn a song you really want to play. Good luck!
