Much thanks to GN and many other sites. After a month of practicing scales, reading theory, and practing other things, I've just finished playing three songs: Livin' After Midnight by Judas Priest, Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams, and Holiday by the Scorpions. Rhythm parts all, but still managed to eek my way through all three. :D
A sucking chest wound is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.
Godin Freeway Classic, PodXT Live, Seymour-Duncan 84-50.
(All this so I could learn 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little' Star for my youngest.)
YEAH!!! Feels Good doesn't it? :D
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"
Congratulations :D
It really feels good when you can put everything together and actually play some music doesn't it?
Little break throughs make playing addictive and keep you going through tougher times when you have to struggle a bit.
I am happy for you :D
Congrats
Always a nice feeling to reach that first plateau.
Enjoy
