Classic Rock Brother Louie The Stories

Here's the tab Chris (Cnev) requested. It is a pretty cool song.
It had a great funk feel to it. Came out about 1974. The singer had
a great raspy voice.

Wow, Wes - once again i am totally stunned! - where'd you dig this one up from?

I remember this song from when I was still at school.....Hot Chocolate were the band who had a hit with this over here, Errol Brown - the singer - had a voice like chocolate poured over silk..........

their first hit - over here - was a reggae version of "Give Peace A Chance"........after that, they had at least one chart hit every year for the next 15 years........

in an era where disco ruled, they were a disco band who actually played good music - and cared about the music.....check 'em out on the soundtrack of the film, "The Full Monty".........

"You Sexy Thing" is still in the wife's all-time top ten......

the opening riff to that is one of my secret weapons, that and "3 steps to heaven" really get her going,,,,,,,,heh heh......!!!

This was a song Chris (Cnev) wanted. I have my ways. And no, this is not some stolen tab. I did it all myself.

I am always trying to think of new songs to post. "You Sexy Thing" would be awesome. I loved the tone of that guitar.

I think it's amazing how so many on here know and like the same songs.

Was reading "sunshine of your love" post before, didn't realise how much work went into doing a tab like that......I should, cos some of mine have taken days....just playing the same note over and over, trying to get it right....

was in the pub tonight, someone brought a guitar in - started to play "All Right Now"......vic jumps up, "NO, no, that's not the way you do it......"

used your chords, went down great..........and told the lad who was playing about Guitarnoise.....so watch out for Jimmy Mac and give him a warm welcome when he finds us here.........

Don't know if you got my PM but thanks alot, I really appreciate it. I hadn't heard this for awhile and I heard it the other day on the radio and it was a song I really wanted to learn.
