I don't listen to classical that often and I just wanted a few traditional classical guitar song suggestions that would be nice to play on an acoustic. Thanks!
"That’s what takes place when a song is written: You see something that isn’t there. Then you use your instrument to find it."
- John Frusciante
Don't know if this qualifies as "classical" but this is one of the first fingerstyle pieces I learned. (Author Unknown) The fingerings are note below the staff (i=index, m=middle, r=ring, a=pinky). It's a nice little piece.
A classical piece I enjoy hearing on the acoustic is "Sarabande" (Handel). It is slow and beautiful and doesn't sound like it would be as difficult as most others. It can be found on several internet sites.
Another, again probably not technically classical, is the "classic" Malaguena.
Hope this helps. Shug

"Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak."
Yes Shug - that's a genuine classical guitar piece by Ferdinando Carulli, written around the late 18th or early 19th century.
Thanks Fretsource . . . I've often wondered who wrote it but never knew . . . until today!! Once again, a member of GuitarNoise comes through!!

this is pretty... and quite easy... well at least at first... but then it gets harder and harder as it goes on...
i'm sure you'll recognise it when you play it...
i hope you enjoy it...
