Similar to my "Help!" post, this represents an amalgation of several Daytripper tabs I found on the internet . . . the Best of Daytripper", if you will
I have tried to include the chords and the various riffs used throughout the song (as well as how I finger them). Frankly, I usually play the main riff while singing the verses (I need more practice but I'm getting there) and then I switch to the chords on the chorus (rather than play the riff there (. . . there's only so much one can do with limited talent!) The solo parts aren't as difficult as it might first appear. A little practice and you should do fine.
I tried to arrange the post so that it will print out on two pages. (I like to put printouts in a notebook with the pages facing each other) Hopefully, it will. The general layout of the song is:
Intro: E riff 4x
Verse 1: E riff 2x. . . . . A riff 2x. . . . . E riff 1x
Chorus: F# - A – G# - C# - B
Coda: E riff 2x
Verse 2
Chorus
Pre-Solo: 3x
Solo
Coda: E riff 2x
Verse 3
Chorus
Ending: E riff 8x (fade)
I can still remember cranking up the stereo and rattling the walls when this song first came out! Was . . . and still is . . .awesome!!

Haven't tried this out yet,
But I'm going to say thanks shug for posting this.
Yet another of my favourites. I just love that signature riff.
I'll give it a go ASAP. Maybe when I'm next round at Rodders, I can plug my trusty acoustic into his amazing Marshall AS50 amp and try that riff out
Keep em coming shug!
All the best
Chris
The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)
