**I felt this song is great for a beginner who is trying to add an additional chord to their studies.  The song uses four chords changes, but they are all relatively in the same area of the neck except the G chord which starts only 2 frets below the rest of them.

C      [0 3 2 0 1 0]
Bb      [x x 0 3 3 1]
F      [x 0 3 2 1 1]
G      [3 2 0 0 0 3]

The song is in simple 4/4 time and you can easily play it using a very basic pattern starting out.

Verses 1 - 3:

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
F  Bb   C   F

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
F  Bb   C

Follow me...
I'll be...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
F  Bb   F

You won't find nobody...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
G   /     /     /

Won't give you money...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
C   /     /     /

I can't give you the...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
F    Bb  /     /

Your better off...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
G   /     /     /

I'm not the reason that...

1 + 2 + 3 + 4
C   /     /     /
We'll be all right if you....

Verse 1:

You [F] don't know [Bb] how you [C]met me
You [F] don't know [Bb] why,[C]
You [F] cant turn [Bb] around and [C]say good-bye [F]
All you  [F] know is when im [Bb]with you I [C] make you [F]free
And [F] swim through your [Bb] veins like a [C] fish in the [F]sea
I'm singing....

[F] Follow me [Bb]Everything is [C]alright
I'll be the [F] one to [Bb] tuck you in at [C] night
And if [F] you want to [Bb] leave I can [C] guarantee
You won't [F]find nobody [Bb] else like [F] me

Verse 2:

And I'm not worry 'bout the ring you wear
Cause as long as no one knows
That nobody can care
Your fellin guilty
And I'm well aware
But you don't look ashamed
And baby I'm not scared
Im singin...

[Solo ]

[G] Won't give you money
[C]I can't give you the sky
[F]It better off if you don't ask why
[G]I'm not the reason that you go a stry
[C]We'll be alright if you don't ask me to stay

I just heard of this guy about 2 weeks ago when a co-worker brought me in a CD. I guess he's a friend of Kid Rock. Very interesting guy, plays a wide variety of music from Rap, Country, Rock, whatever.

I downloaded all the songs on my computer at work. Haven't had much chance to listen, but I will. Maybe this song is on there.

This CD had a picture of him with an alligator on the front.

Thanks for the song

A lot of people are just now discovering Uncle Kracker because of a duet that he did with Kenny Chesney that's currently on the top of the country chart...
"When the Sun Goes Down"

Besides "Follow Me" be sure to check out "In A Little While" and his remake of "Drift Away" that he does with Doby Gray.
