Hi Ho Silver Lining - Jeff Beck.


Surprisingly, for such an influential guitarist, this is Jeff Beck's only solo UK hit, although he did make the charts

with the Yardbirds, and with Rod Stewart.....
This is a vintage slice of 60's pop - cut through the strings and you'll find a very simple guitar figure, and a

surprisingly playable solo....
It's in 4/4 time, and the strum pattern is simple - 4 quick downstrokes to the bar!

Nice Job with that piece Vic. I have never bothered with that one since Beck always talked about how much he detested it, and was basically forced into doing it because of contractual obligations.

What ever happened to the Mott you promised me you were going to tab out months ago? :cry:

I'm on it, just got to tab out the solo, so hopefully it'll be posted sometime tomorrow - probably late evening, GMT.....

I do have a life outside GN.....

Friday, watched TV - St Helens 38, Bradford Bulls 16..... :D :D :D

Sunday, watched TV - Newcastle 1 Liverpool 3.... :D :D :D

Tuesday, watched TV - Birmingham 0, Liverpool 7.... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

then chatted with Elecktrablue, OneWingedAngel and Ghost till the wee small hours - then...

Wednesday morning, watched TV - from 4AM....as I have done since Saturday AM...England beat India by 212 runs.....

All of the above were accompanied by much drinking of alcohol....still celebrating as I type...

and this weekend, Hull v Saints on Friday, Liverpool v Everton (for American readers who haven't nodded off yet - our equivalent of the Yankees v the Mets {I think!} - the BIG one!) on Saturday, and a couple of England v India one-day internationals as well (groan, these 4am starts are a pain)....

So I'll have to get my finger out and get it done tomorrow......
