Vic, this is in response to your observation in another post that we need more early Hollies, Who, Kinks, etc. in the ESD. Here's one from the Hollies. Although Long Cool Woman is my favorite Hollies song (thanks Wes!), I still enjoy a lot of their earlier stuff. Major credit for the tab goes to the late/great Andrew Rogers (RIP). I just inserted something to pass for the solo part.

I'm Alive - Hollies

Intro: (drum roll)

C F Bb B [2X]
Dit di-di-dit dit di-di-di-di-di

Verse 1:

C F C
Did you ever see a man with no heart
Bb G
Baby, that was me
C F C
Just a lonely, lonely man with no heart
Bb G F G [N.C.]
'Til you set me free

Chorus:

C
Now I can breathe
G7/D
I can see
C/E
I can touch
F
I can feel
C/G Am
I can taste all the sugar sweetness in your kiss
C/G Am
You give me all the [1,2: things 3: love] I've ever missed
Bb
I've never felt like this
G F/A G Bb F/A G [1,2: F F/A G 3: to coda]
I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

Verse 2:

C F C
I used to think I was liv-ing
Bb G
Baby, I was wrong
C F C
No, I never knew a thing about liv-ing
Bb G F G [N.C.]
Until you came along

Repeat Chorus

Thanks Rodders . . . I'm Alive and Look Through Any Window were the first songs by the Hollies I can remember hearing by them. So very early stuff. This may jog your memory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV_d_Y7GbKI Note the very young Graham Nash!
