Need assistance on part of "SHIMMER" by FUEL

I can't seem to get the chorus down, the part that goes:

(Chords are Em C Am D C)
We're here and now, will we ever be again
(Chords are Am D C)
Cause I have found
(C)
All that shimmers in this world is sure to fade
(i got this part down)
Away Again

Mainly just the first two lines....I have the main riff progression down, it sounds great, but just can't seem to nail the chorus. Anyone have any strumming suggestions? Help would be greatly greatly GREATLY appreciated!!

Oh, and for those wondering on the main riff, I play it like this....
It's a C, D, Em, D, C progression....the strums are in the ()
C (DD udu D) D (DD ud) Em (U) D (U) C (D D udu D) D (DD ud) Em (U) D (U) ....and then back to C again.
