Stephen Lynch - "Special Ed" OR "Special Fred" if you like

I love this song for parties and the good part is that once people catch onto the lyrics they won't notice how good, bad or indifferent you are playing. This is a version using 4 open chords throughout. If anyone is interested in the more advanced chord version let me know.

PARENTAL GUIDANCE: Choose your own words for F'n and F'r in the final

Standard Tuning, No Capo

Except for the intro a basic D_DUDU at a moderate beat seems to work pretty well with this but you will need to work on the timing and pattern until it feels good.

Don't get too worked up on where the chord changes are just repeat the pattern until the section ends.

intro
G// C// (repeat 4 times)

Verse:

(G)When I (C)was a (G)boy of (C)ten.
(G)I had a (C)very best (G)friend. (C)Ed was
